grapes origin: section nº 2 in the estate, in agrelo, lujan de cuyo, mendoza. vines age: this is a grafting of this variety on vines that existed in the estate, 43 years old. grapes collection: 2nd may 2,006. production: fermented in ss tanks for 9 days, by means of cultivated yeasts. malolactic fermentation occurred naturally. acidity was corrected with tartaric acid. lessees were taken out when fermentations ended.
rest in wood: 120 days in new casks, one and two years old, alliers oak, medium toast. advice: as it was not filtered, might contain natural sediments. estimated lay down time: 8 to 10 years. tasting notes: fruity aromas, intense, reddish violet color. tastes of mint and eucalyptus. full body. advice: serve fresh, 16 to 18 ºc in large glasses, previously decanted. produced and bottled in finca la anita sa, winery nº b 72226, cobos street, agrelo, mendoza. d.i. 2639
