both the history"s fruit and the family heritage are important, the cuvee 1920 pays tribute to time and a wine grower, louis pasquion, who bought his first syrah vineyard that same year, when it was then called "les chassis" of the mercurol commune. she also showcases the true passion of his great grandson, gilles robin, who grows this humble grape variety and has improved it to be in the ranks of the greatest wines of the rhone valley. selected from the best grapes of the domaine, this wine comes from an exceptional terroir that is associated with an extraordinary vintage, and is aged 18 months in barrels in order to reveal all its secrets.
