the french text on the back label means "the vineyard stretches out over the slopes of the brouilly hill, with a subsoil of slate and granit. this soil produces a racy wine, with aromas of fresh grapes and irises. its subtlety and its fruity character permit the wine to be drunk rather young, starting from easter following its harvest. this estates is among the few to produces exclusively côte de brouilly. it is located in a hamlet called "chardignon". the average altitude is 300 meters, and the vineyard is primarily oriented south/south-east. this is a well-structured wine which merits to be aged."
