superbo vino ottenuto in prevalenza da uve selezionate di sangiovese e montepulciano, vinificate separatemente ed a temperatura controllata. una sapiente ed equilibrata maturazione in barriques per 18-20 mesi e un accurato affinamento in bottiglia per circa 6 mesi fanno del
d'ovidio un vino dalla stoffa potente, di colore rubine intenso, con profumi persisenti, ben equilibrati e dal sapore vellutato. eccellente conpagno di grandi pietanze e formaggi stationati: a superb wine obtained from a selction of sangiovese and montepulciano, vinified separately and at a controlled temperature. a knowledgeable and equilibrated maturation in barriques, followed by 6 months in the bottle have made d'ovidio a wine of fine stuff: of a deep ruby color, beautifully balanced and with a velvety flavor. an excellent companion to big main courses and seasonal cheeses.
