- attached our company organic certificate, which names crusoe as an organic product. this is reflected in the other attached organic label approval letter and organic label approvals.
- looked at the labels online, but didn't see anything but what we intend to use on the label (big umbrella and writing in box). all proportions are accurate to the label size indicated.
- the character on the back is a drawing of robinson crusoe, the fictional shipwrecked captain in the 1719 french novel "the adventures of robinson crusoe," for whom this rum is based. (we have the trademark for the name.)
- the "one month of h2o" refers to our growing commitment to build environmental commitment into our brands. similar to tru, where we plant a tree for each bottle sold, and fruit lab, where we donate 1% of sales to plant fruit trees around the world, we will help build wells in partnership with the non-profit group charity: water, that will provide a month of clean drinking water for each bottle of crusoe rum we sell.
