in the year '99, 7,500 bottles were produced with grapes syrah provenience from the vineyard of del conte. this wine is aged in mature oak barrels and comes sharpened in the bottle. the fabius, intense red ruby color and pronounced flavor of mature plums, with the its soft tannins, is a wine of large personality and power that seems almost to recognize itself in the character from which took the name. in fact, giuseppe bianchini chose for this noble wine, the coat of arms and the name fabius de vecchis eps. ilc. a.d. mdcxxii
