from right to left, the characters in the upper right hand corner read "fukamari" which means "depth" and is the name of the product. the chinese characters in the center read "chikurin" which means "bamboo forest" and is the brand name of this sake. the long text on the left hand says, "we
have been making home-grown yamada nishiki (the type of rice) since the 62nd year of the showa era (1988). because we have been successful with the 3-step method of harvesting, which utilizes the rice's own existence, you can taste the real rice flavor; the sake we make also has great balance." the last line on the right hand side is the company name and address. it reads "marumoto brewing company, okayama prefecture, azukuchi city, kamogata area, honjo 2485."15.8 %
