for over 60 years, our family has been running the vineyard of château thieuley with passion and respect for tradition.
our terroirs are located 25 km south-east of bordeaux and 20 km south of saint emilion.
in the vineyard, we respect the environment and produce high quality grapes: by using high density planting, grassing between rows, yield control.
in the cellar, we apply modern techniques combined with traditional know-how (barrel ageing).
this wine, which reveals intense aromas of spice and black fruit, as well as some peppery notes, is a blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon. full-bodied with elegant tannins, you will enjoy it especially with red meat, game and cheeses.
if deposits appear during ageing, this simply reflects the natural character of the wine.
