2009

750 milliliters

tasting note: the nose is very pure, very precise, with wonderful floral scents associated with black cherry, black currant with a touch of the best and creamy flavors of new oak. on the palate, the wine is a medium intensity, but with firm tannins with a nice nervousness for this st. estephe which the final was very well drawn. it is a wine of great class: a pure delight and a property to watch closely in the future.
vinification & ageing: traditional vinification in wooden, stainless steel and concrete vats, matured for 18 months in french oak barrels.
blend: cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc represent 2/3 of the blend with merlot making up the other third.
serving: ideally this wine should be decanted two hours before drinking.
