in 1995 plant white wine grapes in the « backyard » of one of the bordeaux region"s most prized red wine appellations, call it perse"s folly if you will. this is an amazingly concentrated, flavour-packed, near opulent blend of sauvignon blanc, sauvignon gris, with just a splash of the aromatic muscadelle.
fermented, stirred and aged in 100 % new oak barrels for about eight months, it was bottled unfiltered.
monbousquet blanc is richly scented, vibrantly fruity and mouth-filling.
in 2007, our perse"s folly produced only 4500 bottles which we are happy to divide with our wine-loving friends.14.0 %
