this high expressive wine was vinified by philippe dourthe, engineer, enologist and owner along with his three children. this magnificent domain of 72 hectares is located in the heart of the medoc region near bordeaux. three successive picking ensured that only the healthy and well ripened grapes were picked. as per true bordeaux tradition for the grand cru our wines are aged 18 months in new oak barrels (50 to 70% according to the vintage) grapes planted: cabernet sauvignon 52%, merlot 41%, and petite verdot 7%. we will be happy to welcome you at chateau for a guided visit.
