steeped in history since 1330 when a fortification was built, chateau giscour"s name has been associated with wine since 1552, before beaing known as world famous by its classification in 1885. located on grand terroir of margaux, the vineyard of giscours today extends on 82 hectares of vines composed of 60% cabernet sauvignion, 32% merlot, 5% frank cabernet and 3% petite verdot. a perfect reflection of its terroir, the wine of giscours expresses all the smoothness and elegance of the great wines of margaux.
