translation: with a history going back to 1330 when it was just a fortified dungeon, the name of chateau giscours was first associated with wine in 1552, before gaining worldwide renown through the 1855 classification. located on one of the great terroirs of the margaux appellation, the vines of giscours today stretch over 82 hectares (202 acres) and are made up of 60% cabernet sauvignon,32% merlot,5% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot. the wine of giscours mirrors perfectly its terroir and expresses all the finesse and elegance of the great wines of margaux.
