from a history that goes up from 1330 when there was not a fortified keep, the chateau giscours sees its name associated with that of the wines of 1552 before knowing the world renaming its class in 1855. situated on one of the great terroirs of the margaux appellation, the vineyard of giscours extends today over 82 hectares of vines composed of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 32% merlot, 5% cabernet franc, and 3% petit verdot. perfectly reflective of its terroir, the wine of giscours shows all of the finess and elegance of grand cru margaux.
