translation of brand label: an historical fort that dates back to 1330 when it was only a fortified dunjon, the chateau giscours sees it"s name associated with that of wine in1552 before it was known the world renowned for its classification in 1855. located on one of the great terroirs of the margaux appellation, the vineyard of giscours extends today on 82 hectares of vines composed of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 32% merlot, 5% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot.
