chateau d'armailhac had from 1956 to 1976, the name of chateau baronne phillippe.
created in xviii by the d'armailhaca family (or d'armailhac) this 5th growth in 1855
under the name of chateau mouton d'armailhac, finds again a part of its original identity.
despite being a neighbor of chateau mouton rothschild, it is very distinctive both by its vines
as well as its vineyards. this excellent growth has great personality and character,fully realized.
from mouton baronne philippe, from d'armailhac, the name has changed both.
