this bottle, on the front has the english and french wording for "chai cream liquor"
labels attached below (for front and back) are "cut outs" as the bottle is a painted bottle and the sizes are for the printable area on the bottle.
also, there are two images for the back. image 1 is the way the bottle was printed on by the printing company and image 2 shows the area where we shall apply a label to the bottle so that it is in compliance with ttb labeling requirements. this label approval is for 600 cases only to have this label applied. our regular, every day, label was previously approved and is ttb id: 08113-000-000114 dated 04/30/2008. this is similar to a use up application except that with the application of the label on the back covering the ingredient statement (which is required in canada), the bottle should be in full compliance with ttb labeling requirements
i am also submitting a use-up letter in regard to the wording on the front of the bottle: "liquor" vs. "liqueur". please see attached letter.
corrections required on 05-26-2009:
code 116: addressed in use up letter attached. label on sample bottle submitted was printed in office on ink jet printer. if approved, we shall have this label professional printed with industrial strength glue so that it cannot be easily removed.
code 117: this is why we are applying for use-up. bottle, with addition of label on back, will be in full compliance except that it shall say "liquor" instead of "liqueur" on front. we are applying for this use-up for 600 cases until december 2009
code 118: have taken new photographs and attached them
code 138: addressed this in use up letter attached.
liqueur label which was uploaded as "other" on 7/6/2009 will be applied to front of bottle
