(translation of wording on brand label): superior is a new wine from maximin grunhaus. low-yielding old vines from the best parts of the herrenberg and abtsberg vineyards give superb quality grapes that are fermented with natural yeasts in traditional large okd oak casks. the result is an off-dry wine that embodies all the characteristics of classic maximin grunhaus riesling perfectly balanced peach and apricot fruit, with delicate spicy mineral flavors and a lingering finish. they have great aging potential.
