baraccone ronco alto translations:
"other" label translation
baraccone is the name of the area were the winery was built and where in the past the jugglers used to stop (in italian jugglers=baracconi). from these ancient memories the logo of the winery was shaped: infact it represents a juggler.
the name of ronco alto comes from the name of the vineyard where the grapes for this wine are cultivated. the grapes are barbera and croatina (locally known as bonarda).
the long maceration in steel, done with many wine pressing and pumping over, is followed by the malo-lactic fermentation.
then the wine stays for 12 months in small casks and after bottling, the wine refines for at least 1 year in bottle.
it goes perfectly with tasty meat courses and aged cheese.
only 2.500 bottles are produced.
baraccone ronco alto back label translation:
"non disperdere il vetro nell"ambiente"
do not dispose of glass in the environment
