"atamisque" is an indigenous bush 2-3 meters high that spontaneously grows around the winery and gave the name to the estate where the winery is located.
composition: 100% malbec.
vines: yield 5000 kg./ha., located at 1200 m over the sea level.
soil: alluvial, sandy, permeable.
collect: manual in boxes of 18 kg.
harvest: ending april 2007.
elaboration: hand crushed, fermented and macerated in stainless steel tanks, temperature controlled.
aging: 14 months in new french oak barrels.
bottled: december 2008.

color: brilliant dark red, with intense violet glints.
aroma: notes of violet, typical of the grape variety; ripe black fruits (black berries) and dried fruits (raisins), jam notes, with subtle touch of coffee and tobacco.
mouth: excellent concentration, voluptuous, black berries jam and prune, great tannic structure, in balance, amazingly unctuous. intense and elegant wine.
