"appanage" is an archaic spelling of a french word (noun) which appears on the brand and supplemental labels and translates as "preogative, privilege, or perquisite". the words "artisan's reserve" appear on the brand label. this label was previously approved (ttb id 06031001000132) with "yakima valley" as the ava.
